What is the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET)?
The REET is an eligibility test conducted for the selection of third-grade teachers in Rajasthan. This examination is conducted in two levels, the first level for teachers of classes I to V and the second level for teachers of classes VI to VIII. After passing this exam, the final merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in the REET exam and marks obtained in graduation. Selected candidates are appointed as third-class teachers.

The most important thing to pass the reet exam is your language proficiency. It is recommended to study according to the latest trends of the exam
Give equal importance to the speaking and listening section since most of the questions are asked from this part.
It is expected that there will be some negative marking in the written section so try to complete all the questions within the allotted time To score good marks in the written section, it is advised to read the Bengali newspaper and update your vocabulary.

What is the salary of a REET teacher?
The salary of a REET teacher is around 12 thousand takas per month.
Salary will be raised to 18 thousand if they are promoted as headmaster or assistant/vice principal. You have to work hard with full commitment and dedication for the promotion.
How much does a reet teacher get paid?
According to Bangladesh Educational Service Commission, a Reet teacher’s salary is 13,700-25,370 taka. But public school teachers receive even less than that – around 11,000 Tk. They have not been given their annual increment promised by the education ministry three years ago either. However, this year it has been announced that all government school teachers will get an increment between 5 percent and 20 percent with effect from July 1.
